Major route on Shropshire border closed for emergency repairs
The northbound carriageway of the A483 near to the Shropshire border has been closed for emergency repairs this morning following a crash yesterday.

The roads northbound carriageway is closed form the A5 Halton Roundabout at Chirk heading towards Ruabon and Wrexham.
A diversion is in place.
It is not clear when the road will fully re-open.
A 4x4 and a trailer overturned at 5pm on the stretch of road yesterday and the bypass was blocked, causing queuing traffic in both directions between Halton Roundabout and Ruabon.
This is believed to be a cause of the repairs.
