The party has welcomed the manifesto published by campaign group Shropshire Defend our NHS.

Janet Helen Phillips, the Green Party's parliamentary candidate for the Ludlow constituency, said:

"The future of A&E and NHS hospital services in Shrewsbury is vitally important to those of us who are faced with difficult journeys to access high quality health care"

Emma Bullard, the party's parliamentary candidate for the Shrewsbury and Atcham constituency, said: "I will campaign vigorously for a well-funded level of A&E and hospital provision in both Shrewsbury and Telford."

Green Party Parliamentary candidates will be present at the Love the NHS rally in The Square on April 25.
