House cordoned off and armed police present after Newtown robbery
A house has been taped off and armed police are on the scene to investigate a robbery at a house in Newtown, Mid Wales.

The robbery happened at a house in Ffordd Croesawdy, New Road, at about 11.15pm last night, when a man stole cash and is thought to have had a knife.
Police say the female victim was not injured.
Officers, along with firearms officers, were dispatched to the scene and have continued with enquiries throughout the night and this morning.
Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 34-year-old Robert Lee Sutton from Newtown to contact them immediately.
As a precaution the public are advised not to approach him.
Police will maintain their presence in the area whilst enquiries continue.
