Inquest opens on Shrewsbury river death man
The inquest on a man whose body was recovered from the River Severn in Shrewsbury has been opened and adjourned.
Mr John Ellery, coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, adjourned the hearing into the death of Robert Mark Bartlett yesterday.
The inquest at the Guildhall in Shrewsbury heard that the body Mr Bartlett, 28, of Winnington Green, Middletown, was identified through dental records.

Coroner's officer Claire Edwards, from Wellington Police Station, said: "The body of Robert Mark Bartlett was recovered from the River Severn on March 20.
"Death was confirmed at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, where he was identified from dental records."
Mr Bartlett was last seen at a relative's house in Middletown on February 17 before he drove to Shrewsbury.
His car was found in the Victoria Quay area.
Police divers recovered his body from the River Severn, opposite Shrewsbury's Pengwern Boat Club, after a member of the public raised the alarm.
The inquest was adjourned until July 23.
