Record turn-out at Bridgnorth farm auction
Delighted organisers of a farm auction in Shropshire have recorded their largest ever turn-out.
The Nock Deighton Livestock Market and Auction Centre held a sale of farm machinery on Saturday and despite the weather the auction saw the largest crowds to date of more than 1,000 people.
Organiser Andrew Brown said: "The turn-out was great, everyone really enjoyed it and we are looking forward to the next one.
"We had a great line up of tractors and other farming machinery. The sale went very well and we saw the largest crowds we have ever seen in Bridgnorth."
The Bridgnorth Livestock Market is a modern covered facility which holds quarterly machinery auctions and weekly auctions of live stock.
As well as livestock, the agricultural team also handles the sale of property and land in addition to the dispersal sales of livestock, machinery, workshop and horticultural equipment.
On April 12, the auction will hold a specialist poultry sale with rare breeds.
The next agricultural machine auction will be held on June 1, and entrance is free.

The auction house also holds weekly livestock auctions. For more information visit www.nockdeightonagriculture.co.uk/
