Plans for Market Drayton ring road scrapped
Long-awaited plans for a £3.3 million ring road in Market Drayton have been scrapped.

The plans were abandoned by Shropshire Council's ruling cabinet yesterday when members decided to sell off the land earmarked for the road.
They were tight-lipped over how much of the money it raises would come back to the town.
