Closed:

Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge Primary School

Dorrington to Stapleton road, minor roads around Betton Strange, Weeping Cross to King's Street road

Shrewsbury's Frankwell Car Park

Battlefield Road closed in both directions at the Arlington Way junction

Watling Street in Craven Arms closed

Dale Road in Ironbridge is closed from its junction with the Wharfage and Buildwas Road up to the junction with Paradise

Reopened:

The Wharfage was open to traffic today but council workers have coned off part of the road in case flood barriers need to be put up

Delays:

Major queues reported around the Tesco Extra and Matalan stores in Battlefield this morning

Delays of up to an hour at Shrewsbury Railway Station as Arriva Trains Wales services to Knighton and Hereford were disrupted. There were also delays on the Chester to Shrewsbury line which reopened earlier today

Motorists urged to avoid crossing the ford in Boreton
