Hundreds of people are expected in Ludlow this weekend for a seven-mile walk around the town's gastronomic hotspots.
The Ludlow Magnalonga walk on Sunday will also head out into the countryside surrounding the town, stopping off at several locations for the 600 ramblers to try local food and drink.
Organisers say the sold out event is based on a similar walk organised by the wine-maker in Ludlow's twin town of San Pietro in Cariano, near Verona in Italy, the home of Valpolicella wine.
Beth Heath, spokeswoman for the event, said it was meant to be a fun and leisurely walk – not a race.
She said: "The Ludlow Magnalonga is now in its eleventh year and 600 tickets have been sold. Some people visiting will be travelling from distant countries.
"The walk isn't intended for serious walkers but for everyone – families, couples and individuals.
"The walk is different each year and planned with local producers and farms to take participants down footpaths, tracks, and across fields.
"The whole premise is to eat the food in the environment it was produced.
"The walk starts at 10-minute intervals, between 10am and 11.30 am."
