Work is under way to keep Shifnal's Millennium Sensory Garden in tip top condition ready for its 10th anniversary celebrations.
Twelve volunteers went along to the garden, off Innage Road, to carry out nearly three hours of work at the weekend.
Jonathan Pierce, spokesman for the group, said there were now two morning gardening sessions before the anniversary on May 21.
He added: "Saturday morning went very well. We did lots of weeding, cutting back and tidying up."
They also put up a new plaque stating what the garden is and that it is run by volunteers. More than £30,000 was raised to create the site, which is maintained by a dedicated committee together with the Friends of the Garden.
Mr Pierce added: "Volunteers work at least two half days every month on a Saturday morning to maintain the high standard that was established from the outset.
"Our aim has been to create a garden of lasting beauty for all to enjoy but also to make it accessible to those confined to a wheelchair and also the visually impaired," he added.
On May 21 a celebration is planned to mark the 10th anniversary and as part of the celebrations a tree will be planted to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
