Farm wind turbine bid withdrawn

Controversial plans for a wind turbine in the Shropshire countryside have been withdrawn at the last minute by developers, despite planning officials recommending it.

The 55kw turbine, which would have been 150ft tall, was earmarked for land at Bawhill Farm, Adderley, near Market Drayton.
