Buddy to discover Emmerdale fate

Buddy the Labrador was finding out today whether he has secured a starring role in ITV's Emmerdale.

The dog from Church Stretton has made it to the final three of the national Dog for the Dale competition.

He was appearing on ITV's This Morning today to see if he has beaten off competition from two other dogs in an online vote.

Owner Julie Hill said she and Buddy travelled down to London last night and the pair were very excited.
