A 48-year-old man has been arrested after police found heroin during a raid in Ludlow.
Six police officers and a dog handler swooped on a house in Sandpits Close on Friday afternoon and seized drugs, various equipment and cash.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin, a Class A controlled drug, with intent to supply. He has been released on bail while police continue to carry out investigations.
Police were granted a warrant to search the premises under the Misuse of Drugs Act and have pledged to tackle illegal drug use in the south of the county as a 'top priority'.
Sergeant Adrian Woolley, of West Mercia Police, said: "This is the latest in a series of drugs warrants executed in the south Shropshire area.
"Tackling illegal drug use and associated crime is a top priority for the police. Further warrants will be carried out whenever we have sufficient evidence.
"I would urge local people to help the police combat drug-related issues by reporting any suspected activity they see either in the streets or at properties near their homes.
"Contact Ludlow police station in strictest confidence on the 101 non-emergency number. Information can also be given to the anonymous and independent Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111."
Last week a 36-year-old man in Church Stretton was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and was bailed pending further inquiries.
