A woman who was locked up for her part in the killing of a Shropshire man has admitted having a kitchen knife in a public place while out on licence.

Louise Jackson, 23, of Alexandra Road, Market Drayton, admitted possessing a bladed article on September 24 when she appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.

Jackson was given five years custody in 2007 for conspiracy to manslaughter and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in an offence which also saw her father jailed for murder and her mother given an unlimited hospital order.

They were convicted after the death of Market Drayton man Vivian Paul Price.

For possessing the knife in a public place Jackson was made subject of a mental health treatment requirement. She was also banned from drinking alcohol while she is on medication and given a 12-month supervision order.

Mr Phillip Beardwell, prosecuting, said Jackson had called police telling them she was in the street, she had a knife and she wanted to stab herself.

Mr Andrew Holland, for Jackson, said the only real risk was to herself.
