Fire at Tibberton house

Two elderly people were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke after a house fire in a village near Newport.

The fire broke out in the first floor bathroom of a house in Tibberton in the early hours of this morning.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said two elderly people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation.
