An action-packed programme of events is lined up for this weekend's Newport Show.
The agricultural show will be held at Chetwynd Deer Park, with the schedule starting at 8am and running until 5.30pm.
Pat Edgar, spokesman for the event, said: "The show is one of Shropshire's prime agricultural events bringing town and country together in a day of non-stop activities plus a chance to see British farming at its best.
"There will be a great line-up of entertainment from thrilling motorcycle stunt riders to outstanding horsemanship by the graceful Andalusian Stallions of Substance, plus displays of vintage farm machinery. A variety of animals including cattle, sheep, horses and dogs will be on show competing for top prizes culminating in the spectacular Grand Parade of winning cattle and horses in the main ring.
"Showcasing some of the region's best food and drink, the food hall will be a local gourmet's delight with a diversity of delicious products, while the horticulture marquee will feature wonderful displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables.
Tickets cost £15 per adult, £12 for seniors, £5 children (5-15 years) and £32 for families (two adults, two children).
