Vandals hit Shifnal sport sites

Two Shifnal sports facilities have been targeted in separate vandal attacks.

Shifnal Town Football Club's Phoenix Park and Idsall Sports Centre were both vandalised in attacks last night but nothing was stolen.

The football team's home match with Bromyard, scheduled for tonight, has been postponed as a result of the incident.

Football club spokesman Kevin Fullerton said: "They have broken into the changing rooms and just caused a lot of damage - mainly to the doors and benches."
