Cyclist hurt in Wellington road accident

A cyclist in his 40s was taken to hospital after colliding with a car outside a Telford school.

The accident happened outside Blessed Robert Johnson School in Wellington, just before 8pm last night.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Suzie Fothergill said the rider was taken to Princess Royal Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
