Motorcyclist Alan Hickman, 62, of Church Road, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, was killed in a crash on the A483 at Mile End, Oswestry, shortly after 1pm on Sunday. A postmortem examination has been held and an inquest is expected to open later this week. And a 53-year-old cyclist who was found lying at the side of his bike in Beckbury, near Shifnal, has been named as Keith Hale, from Coseley, Bilston. An inquest opening yesterday heard how the engineer inspector was found unconscious beside his road racing bike outside Ryton Court in Ryton Road at 12.35pm on Sunday. He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital where he died. The inquest was adjourned until November. Anybody with information about the incidents should call 0300 333 3000. Mr Hickman was thrown off of his yellow Triumph motorcycle when it crashed into a roadside tree.
It is understood he was in collision with a motorcycle travelling in the same direction towards Welshpool after overtaking a Ford Transit van.
A postmortem examination has been held and an inquest is expected to open later this week.
Family members of the other motorcyclist killed at the weekend gathered yesterday afternoon to lay floral tributes at the site of the tragic accident on the B5062 at Uffington, near Shrewsbury.
About 10 people were escorted to the scene near the Haughton and Withington crossroads and two police cars stopped either side of the group to slow down traffic.
The mourners stayed for about 30 minutes laying flowers and tributes for the vitim who has not been named at this stage.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the Oswestry crash
Richard Ewels, spokesman for Shropshire police said: "This is a busy stretch of road and we are anxious to hear from anyone who either saw the collision or the circumstances leading up to it."
