Letter: Farewell, new market

Letter: On behalf of the many visitors who patronised the new market, I wish to express my regret to Ray Gall, director of the Town and Country Markets, for his decision to discontinue the event.

I wish to thank Mr Gall for trying to bring some pleasure and happiness to Market Drayton which now is sadly lacking. I hope that you and your company will try and relocate somewhere close to Market Drayton.

I appreciate you have had many difficulties and problems on this site - which is most regrettable.

Thank you once again for trying to bring a bit of sunshine and enjoyment into many people's lives.
