A41 roadworks near end
Controversial roadworks on a main road in Shropshire look set for an early finish, it was revealed today.

Telford & Wrekin Council said resurfacing work on the A41 north of Newport is "progressing well" and could even be finished sooner than expected.
The roadworks were put back after strong opposition from residents, traders and motorists over a lack of consultation.
Under their original timetable highways chiefs hoped to have the work finished by December 7.
