Plans for a multi-million pound housing scheme in Market Drayton, which would create up to 150 jobs, have taken a step forward after developers submitted an official bid.
Developers Base Architecture want to build 57 homes on Bank and Orchard Fields, off Walkmill Road.
Now an official bid for full planning permission for the scheme has been sent to Shropshire Council.
Under the plans, a mixture of three and four-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced houses would built, creating about 150 jobs building the homes during a two-year construction programme.
Once on the market, bosses anticipate the homes would range in price from £150,000 to £199,000.
Earlier this year developers held a public consultation on the plans.
