People today took a walk up The Wrekin for a tour of an Iron Age hill fort.
They were able to learn more about the restoration of the hill fort on the Shropshire landmark.
Some of the expert team of archaeologists, historians and ecologists who have helped shape the restoration plan joined the climb to the ancient fortifications, which are more than 2,500 years old.
Part of the hill is eroding and bracken is taking over where there should be heather and bilberry.
The Wrekin is becoming a victim of its huge popularity, with growing erosion from walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders.
A restoration plan for the hill fort has been developed over two years. The guided tour lasted about three hours.
The Raby Estate - owner and lead partner in the restoration project - will be working closely with Shropshire Wildlife Trust volunteers on the restoration.
