Child porn case date

A Mid Wales vicar facing child porn charges has had his case sent to crown court.

The Reverend Richard Hart, vicar of St Michael's Church in Beguildy, St Cynllo in Llangunllo, St Mary Magdalene in Bleddfa, St David in Heyope and St Padarn's, Llanbadarn Fynydd, appeared at Brecon Magistrates Court yesterday.

Hart, of The Vicarage, Beguildy, but currently living in Woking, is charged with 21 offences connected with the making and possessing of indecent images of children.

His case was committed to Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on September 3.
