Let police do the job properly
The call to increase the price of alcohol to curb the activities of unruly mobs is ridiculous. Why do the many have to pay the price for the few?

The problem isn't so much drunken violence as the police not being allowed to to deal with it.
Excessive human rights legislation in this country is ridiculous and the lawyers who deal in it should hang their heads in shame.
Of course, they must wonder what we "moaning working class oiks" are going on about, because they don't tend to have to suffer yobs tearing up their garden fences or vandalising cars in their leafy parts of town.
And on the odd occasion it does happen, what a hullabaloo they cause, blaming the police for their inability to deal with it.
Come on MPs, start getting your hands dirty and oppose this ridiculous state of affairs. Leave law abiding people to enjoy a drink without punishing them, and allow the police to deal with criminals without one hand tied behind their back.
