Plans are inhumane

Having just read Ann Hartley's article on primary school closures, I cannot believe that she is the cabinet member for children and young people.

To even consider transporting such young children miles to school is inhumane.

One of the schools named is Weston Rhyn, which it is proposed would take pupils from Selattyn; Weston Rhyn would never fit them in.

Another school, Nesscliffe, would see children going to Bicton or Ford - all those miles in the early morning rush hour. Is the county council mad?
