Ross, also known as Ross Catterall, left for the Australian jungle on January 10 alongside some of Germany's best known names, including Polish hip hop star DJ Tomekk and former German goalkeeper Eike Immel.
His parents Denis and Vivien, who still live in in Linley Brook, near Bridgnorth, were today celebrating his victory.
Mrs Catterall said: "We are both very proud of him. We spoke to him on the phone when he got out and he is delighted."
