Councillors in Ludlow have begun the race to take over the reins from the town's controversial mayor.
At least two councillors are understood to be planning campaigns to become Ludlow's first citizen. However, their names have not yet been made public.
Today Mayor Marie Glaze said she was undecided whether or not to stand again as mayor.
She said: "The decision will be made in May. I'm not saying I will stand and I'm not saying I won't.
"I know people have started talking about it. I've enjoyed the past few months."
