We must protect our town

I don't think you know that the Walker family is giving up one of the oldest pubs in the town, The Loggerheads, in Church Street, Shrewsbury.

This is due to a rent increase by Banks's Brewery, of Wolverhampton.

This is another nail in our town's coffin. Every part of our town and community is in danger, if we lose it, we wont get it back again. All we'll have is one-day wonders, who come into the town, businesses and property, sell them, make a quick killing, then move on.

They don't care about Shrewsbury, all they care about is profit, but the bubble will burst unless we invest in our past as well as our future.
