More cash is wasted

Here is another example of a waste of money by the county council.

Last week while walking along our tiny lane, which has no through traffic, I came across two council workmen staring at a map in total confusion.

They were, much to their disbelief, in the right place. The map showed where to put up 30mph road signs and it included one in our lane - where it is impossible for a car to go faster than 15mph.

There were also several other places indicated on the map which were equally ridiculous.
