To the young man and passenger in the silver car behind me, at the crossroads with Featherbed Lane and Harlescott Lane, who shock his head then childishly waved, please take a look at the Highway Code.

When I passed my test, and might I add first time, in Birmingham, if lights are changing from amber to red on approach, you stop, not sail through.

Sorry you had to wait a short while, but try going through a red light in the centre of Birmingham and see how you get on.
