Another stealth tax plan

In reply to Derek Cole of Bridgnorth. In respect to your letter sir, all of the examples that you give are proof of global warming.

However, there has never been any solid proof that any of this has been directly caused by human activity. And in any case us Brits are far from the main culprits of CO2 emissions.

As I have stated before on the letters page, far too many of us are easily swayed by government propaganda. If we are told that something is black and not white enough times, then we believe it.

I am sure that most of us are aware that only a small fraction of the money which is raised through so-called green taxes is actually spent on green issues.

Nobody is actually doing anything positive to combat global warming because it is part of the Earth's cycle.

It is a clever trick by the Labour stealth machine. Make something socially un-acceptable and the gullible taxpayer will accept being taxed on it.

We all need to see through the government agenda and see what really is going on - another stealth tax scheme.
