He forgot it was a Labour government in 1947 that created the NHS and that every employed person pays into the NHS via National Insurance contributions.
The current policy now is to refuse treatment if you are over a certain age or overweight just to get the waiting lists down irrespective of the length of time that person has paid NI contributions.
Recently on the national news it was announced France is to cease providing medical cover for non-French citizens if they have a serious illness and send them back to the UK for treatment. This is against EU law but the French do not take any notice of that if they disagree with it.
The Labour council agreed to the downgrading of the PRH against the electorate's wishes, and, according to council minutes, has signed Telford & Wrekin into the Regional Assembly, making Telford a subsidy area of Birmingham and co- ntrolled by Birmingham and putting it in the West Midlands Super City, costing Telford taxpayers hundreds of thousands of pounds.
There is due soon a council by-election in Brookside which will give the people of Brookside a chance to give Gordon Brown the response to his 10 years as Chancellor and his vision for the future of this country - what is left now Blair has gone.
