Recognise the state of Israel

I would like P Adams to check some of their information on what he or she says about Israel.

This small nation is a democratic country unlike its surrounding neighbours. It no longer controls Gaza. Hamas does.

Did you know that nearly 300 kassams and mortar rockets were fired into Israel in the month of August alone?

Did you know that the rocket launchers are retrieved and adjusted by teenagers or children who are used by Hamas to do their dirty work?

They risk their lives. Would we do this to our own children?

Israel has to do something and one thing it is not doing is launching a full scale military assault, as you stated.

It is resorting to sanctioning, at certain times of the day, the electricity fed and supplied by Israel into Gaza.

I wonder how England would react if faced with a dose of rockets being fired into the country every day.

If only Hamas would recognise the state of Israel and stop the daily firing of rockets, then peace talks could take place.

Till then Israel can not stand by and do nothing to stop these attacks on its land.
