Treaty the one Dutch rejected

Why are our politicians never challenged when they state that this EU Reform Treaty is different from the constitution voted away by the French and Dutch?

Why are our politicians never challenged when they state that this EU Reform Treaty is different from the constitution voted away by the French and Dutch?

Our politicians maintain this treaty is sufficiently different to the constitution to not require a referendum; the following, mostly foreign politicians, have all stated unequivocally that essentially they're the same - Zapatero, Garrido, Brok, Steinmeier, Wallstrom, Rasmussen, Barroso, O'Brien, D'Estaing, Moratinos, Harman, Booker. There will be more but this is enough to prove the point.

Was it Goebbels who stated that if lies are big enough and repeated often enough the public would believe them?

There is no alternative to the main political parties on the EU question except the United Kingdom Independence Party - in the UK we're paying something like £100,000 every minute of every hour of every day. That's a billion pounds every week - think what we could do with that sort of money if it were available to us instead of to the EU.
