Tories to blame for inequality

In one of the leading national newspapers, former cabinet minister Ann Widdicombe MP was being paid to advertise pasta for £5,000.

The leader of the uninspiring Conservatives, David Cameron, was supporting his colleagues to be allowed the freedom to earn extra money outside their Parliamentary salaries and expenses.

Whilst those losing their livelihoods are left to the dictatorial establishment - the Jobcentre Plus.

As the writer, now approaching 67 on January 10 next year, I know all about what the Conservatives did in their 18 years in power - they closed shops and schools with the addition of family farms gone.

It is about time that those elected in Westminster and Brussels had some sense of the growing inequality and destitution to those left most at risk.

Safely seated Tory members have nothing to be proud of, as it is they who created the legislation and regulations in the universal manner that we witness.
