Offenders lose right to moan

I was shocked to read the article in Wednesday night's paper regarding Stoke Heath Young Offenders Institution. Not for the reasons you might think though.

I read about the poor living conditions, graffiti and the poor food but to name a few, and my reaction was: tough.

Who graffitis the cells? Not the wardens, not the governor, and certainly not me. As for leisure facilities, honest hard-working people spend money to join a gym, why should they get it for free?

Whilst joe public has to go for non-branded supermarket food to make ends meet they have the audacity to say the food is below par.

I'm afraid you lost your right to complain when you broke the law for whatever reason.

The most shocking part though, is some post graduate is actually being paid a lot of money for what in my opinion is a spurious job.
