Grateful for hospice support

I and the family of Jacky Clifford would like, through your newspaper, to say our thanks to all of Jacky's friends for their kindness, thoughts and tremendous support they gave to us.

Jacky died peacefully in the Severn Hospice at Bicton Heath on July 30 after battling constantly and uncomplainingly with her illness.

I cannot even begin to adequately explain the wonderful constant love and care all of the staff at the hospice gave both to Jacky and myself, except to say it was unbelievable.

They made Jacky's stay with them so dignified and comfortable.

As a consequence, from the funeral and our belated wedding, we donated more than £1,000 to the hospice to help them in some small way to carry on with their tremendous work.

Also a huge thanks to all of the staff at Shawbury Medical Centre.
