Police not concerned about yobs

About a fortnight ago I called at the bowling green at Castlefields to watch a match.

The players were being distracted by drunken yobs and had the "pleasure" of having laser beams shined in their faces.

One of the members rang the police to report this, but gave up after there being no response to the phone for at least 15 minutes.

Conversely I read in the Shropshire Star recently that somebody had hung a toy pig dressed as a policeman from Greyfriars Bridge and 10 policemen had turned up to sort it out.

I really wonder where police priorities lie.
