I could not fault stay at hospital

In the past weeks and months all I have read or seen on news is how bad our NHS is and how bad patient care is, all doom and gloom. Well it's about time someone had something good to say.

In the past weeks and months all I have read or seen on news is how bad our NHS is and how bad patient care is, all doom and gloom. Well it's about time someone had something good to say.

I was in Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in May this year and staying on the gynaecology ward. After several operations, I couldn't fault anything about the time of my stay.

Yes, there was a definite shortfall of staff. But all staff, doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, cleaners, were all very friendly and worked very hard to keep things running smoothly.

All staff used alcohol hand wash when needed. Wards, bathrooms, shower rooms, were cleaned thoroughly.

Food was excellent, with a healthy choice of three-course meals, and meals were cooked and presented well.

Most of all, all staff were very caring, friendly and helpful. They did their best to make a patient's stay as comfortable, carefree and happy as they could.

So more praise please for nurses, doctors, and all hospital workers.
