New fiasco affecting motorists

Yet again the powers above, who are answerable to no-one, strike again.

Yet again the powers above, who are answerable to no-one, strike again.

First fiasco, parking in Ludlow - still not fully sorted out. Now we have the new bridge with traffic lights. The boffins say there will be no problem - wait till September when the schools reopen.

Why close Lower Corve Street to through traffic?

Traffic leaving town could go over the new bridge and light vehicles entering could use Lower Corve Street, no traffic lights required.

I have been given two reasons as to why Lower Corve Street should be closed. First, traffic speed. Calming strips would solve this. Second, contractors' vans parked outside properties damaged by the flood - something as yet I have not seen.

It is well known that there are a number of residents who do not want traffic past their doors. I thought this was a local disaster where everyone pulled together.
