Hospital suffering from leaks

My husband was in the Orthopaedic Hospital for a few weeks recently to have his broken knee mended.
Excellent, attentive surgeon, one Mr Graham, good nursing staff. Great excitement when a TV crew arrived to film David Eastman, in the opposite bed, who was receiving a world first treatment involving stem cells. How wonderful is it that a Shropshire hospital is at the forefront of medical/surgical practices.
I was therefore amazed on a couple of visits to nearly fall over notices in the corridor: "Danger, wet floor, due to leak in roof."
There were leaks in the corridor, leaks in the end day room and in a supposedly covered area a monsoon rained on visitors.
If the Government can't do any better than this for such a beacon of excellence I suggest Gordon Brown and his Cabinet get down here and put their fingers in the holes like the famous Dutch boy who saved Holland.
