Changing statistics isn't right
The changes along the Eastern Primary have cost the borough more than £600,000 and consisted mainly of painting some magic white lines that reduced road accidents.

The new signage along the EP A442 says: 42 casualties, 2005, 21 casualties, 2006.
They forget to let people know that the 2006 figures represent a period covering six months and do not represent a like-for-like comparison at that.
Two residents have asked questions about the statistics, both requests were answered by different officers in the same council department, but came back with different figures.
It was decided headline figures would be changed to promote a more positive look, effectively admitting they change figures to make the council look good, when in truth, had they maintained their approach to statistics, the truth would have been an increase in accidents along the EP A442.
It is appalling that council officers can alter the truth about public safety, not be questioned and then get rewarded for their efforts at the expense of the public.
More than £700,000 was spent on Trench Lock. More than £300,000 was spent on Ketley Brooke Roundabout.
Yet not one penny has been spent on getting officers to tell the truth.
