Teenagers helped sick and old
We have just returned from a pilgrimage to Lourdes and we would like to say thank you to Bishop Brian, Father Alban, Ro, Krystyna and Flora for all their help.
We have just returned from a pilgrimage to Lourdes and we would like to say thank you to Bishop Brian, Father Alban, Ro, Krystyna and Flora for all their help.
We also thank Nula, doctors, nurses and helpers for all their hard work. They really looked after us from the time we left St Patrick's until we arrived back eight days later.
We would like to say a big thank you to the students from BRJ and the Shrewsbury diocese.
So often we never give credit to teenagers. We say that teenagers never do anything for the sick or the elderly, but how wrong we are.
The students who came to Lourdes with us worked really hard helping the sick and the elderly. Nothing was too much trouble.
The students along with the doctors, nurses and helpers, not only give up eight days of their holidays, they also have to pay their way just the same as we do.
So when we are complaining about teenagers' wrongdoings, remember there are a lot of good kids out there.
