Drivers are a danger to children
I write in response to P Johnston's letter of June 5, regarding my cat getting killed on the Mount.
I write in response to P Johnston's letter of June 5, regarding my cat getting killed on the Mount.
I do not live on the Mount and feel that is my right to own a pet, if I wish, without having to keep it inside 24/7.
If Mr Johnston had read my letter properly then maybe he would understand why I wrote it.
The meaning of the letter was that motorists need to slow down as they come off the Frankwell roundabout.
Children and parents have to cross there as it's the only way to get from Hafren Close. I would like to see if P Johnston could cross there without taking his life in his hands.
His comments are poorly founded and he has written to the Shropshire Star without thinking it all through.
It was so upsetting for our little daughter, aged seven, to see such a thing. But imagine, it could have easily been a child's life that was lost.
Before you write again, P Johnston, please think about what point you are trying to make.
