Pray for safe return of Maddie
Having read recently a number of letters both in the National Press and the Shropshire Star regarding the tragic abduction of Madeleine McCann and the resulting pain to her parents, I feel I must comment.

However well intentioned the views expressed, it seems love for the parents is in very short supply.
I hope those individuals who have made negative comments on her parents as to their lack of parenting skills are never put in a similar position.
My understanding is that abduction of a child in Portugal is so rare that the police have had difficulty in responding quickly enough because it was almost unheard of.
With that elusive gift of hindsight don't you think her parents would have ever left her?
In the same way as many would have delayed journeys, checked someone at night more often, locked a door, or taken someone to the hospital earlier. The list goes on.
To even suggest that the parents be arrested, questioned and have the the Social Services involved, is an outrage.
Haven't they suffered enough?
Let's all pray for the safe return rather than condemn.
Remember there but for the grace of God go you or I.
