Discipline is the key

In reply to the letter, Children should be left alone (Saturday, April 28).

I agree that children should have a place to enjoy themselves, but I must ask the question, why was your village youth club closed?

Why were they banned from the village green? Was it because of excessive noise and vandalism? If so, one can see why your council took action.

I totally agree with you, children are not the same as in the 1950s.

We were brought up with strict discipline. Not like today. It does work.
