Treatment is too far

After reading that some patients with kidney problems have to travel to Walsall for dialysis treatment, I wonder if this is what I have to look forward to.

I have end stage chronic renal failure and am being prepared for dialysis treatment in the near future.

This is stressful enough without having to contend with long journeys and time away from home especially when you have to attend hospital three times a week for treatment.

We have the Princess Royal and Royal Shrewsbury Hospitals in Shropshire but neither has the facilities to cope with the number of renal patients in the area. Something needs to be done about this.
