Treatment should be available
I read the article in your paper on April 12 about Mr Green's fight to get the treatment he needs for cancer, and having to pay £3,000 a month for it while people in Scotland get it free.

I myself have asked doctors about this drug for my wife who is also terminally ill with cancer.
No one will give us a decision other than "it looks as though it's only available in Scotland".
Why? If this drug can give a better quality of life and possibly longer life, people should be given it.
If it hasn't been properly tested then I'm sure cancer sufferers would be only too pleased to test it out for them.
Whatever happened to the United Kingdom we were all so proud of?
People in Wales get free prescriptions when we have to pay.
Isn't there anyone out there with the knowhow to get these things put on a fair for all basis?
Or are we so divided that some are left to die and others get treated?
