Help to protect our wildlife
It makes a change to hear the Countryside Alliance talking about getting rid of rubbish instead of talking it.
It makes a change to hear the Countryside Alliance talking about getting rid of rubbish instead of talking it.
But I can't help feeling this is just another cynical ploy by the pro-hunt deviants to get the public on side.
Go on the CA website and you will note that they work for everyone who loves the countryside - everyone except those horrified by violence towards animals that is! You will also note how the Countryside Alliance welcome the new Animal Welfare Act, but they make it clear that this does not include wildlife.
The reality of hunting is that it is not the pretty picture postcard of mounted riders with pack of hounds - that they want you to see - but the cruel hounding of an animal for entertainment.
Make no mistake, hunting is a business, which is why hunts were encouraged to build artificial earths to encourage fox breeding. Any rubbish spouted by hunts that they are a pest control service was blown right out of the window when that little snippet first came to light.
Also please believe me when I tell you that foxes are not vermin, they breed far less than a dog or cat, let alone rats.
Don't let the hunt keep hounding our wildlife and please be brave and join me in condemning the hunt before they fool you into thinking they are paragons of virtue, when they are anything but.
The only tipping the CA are really bothered about is tipping out the hunting act.
