Congratulations to Ted

May I use your valuable space to congratulate Ted Cowling, the author of his book The Journey, for his efforts to publicise and sell his book in aid of the Severn Hospice Appeal Fund.

I notice you reported in your paper recently that he is off again on a tour of Shropshire talking to club members and signing his book at the age of 86 years.

What a wonderful effort on his part and at his age to support such a marvellous cause. It was great to read in your paper that he and his co-author have already donated more than £10,000 to the Severn Hospice.

The book is not only a credit to the authors but so well worth the purchase price for such a wonderful cause.
